Each year on the Saturday before Easter, Falkirk Cultural Center welcomes Alice along with her friends from Wonderland—the Mad Hatter, March Hare, Queen of Hearts, Caterpillar and many others—to its beautiful house and spacious lawns! How it works:  The fantastic success of this event has been due in the past to the remarkable participation of its volunteers including the incredible San Rafael Girl Scouts and the Cultural Affairs Service League.  From pre-event help including set-up, decorating, running activities, purchasing and assembling materials and refreshments to post-event clean-up, volunteers play a pivotal role. On the day of the event, usually between 11:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., volunteers are needed for house monitoring, serving refreshments, assisting with various booths, portraying costumed characters and general help.
