Our Mission is to create a fun and playful calendar with wide-spread popular appeal, featuring local breast cancer survivors in elegant, retro-style, pinup photographs.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 in 2010 for charities that support patients with breast cancer. The Pinups for Purpose calendar also supports our models in reclaiming themselves while embracing their new self image. It inspires and directly benefits others with similar challenges and informs the public about fundraising events throughout the bay area.

The beauty of this program is its ability to benefit any breast cancer charity in the Bay Area as each charity can sell our calendars for a substantial profit without any initial investment. The calendar may be resold by any breast cancer charity in the Bay Area as part of a fundraiser or given as a premium gift, thereby continuing to fund worthwhile organizations with a shared mission of education, awareness, research, prevention and support. Preventive Medical Center of Marin, Inc. has been at the same location since 1984, initially as the Marin Clinic of Preventive Medicine and Health Education and currently as PMCM, having been incorporated in 1993.
