Our first project for the season is at the new Canal Community Garden, where we'll pick up trash and prune back shrubs in surrounding areas before the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 am. Note that we'll be starting at 8:30 am.

Falkirk Garden Work Party
Join the Marin Master Gardeners for a "spring cleaning" of the magnificent gardens located at the Falkirk Cultural Center. The gardens feature water-conserving, Mediterranean, habitat and succulent plantings. You'll also get a sneak preview of the historic Lathe House greenhouse which is in the final stages of restoration by dedicated volunteers. Project goes from 9 am - 1 pm. Bring gloves, weeding tools and pruners if you have them, and water. Wear work clothes, a hat, and close-toed shoes.

Earth Day San Rafael
Save this date for Earth Day when San Rafael Clean joins with a host of agencies throughout Marin in helping to clean up and better the environment. Cleanups, invasive weed removal, and other nature activities take place at parks and open space areas throughout San Rafael. Contact us if you want to host a project.

Italian Street Painting Festival
Want to help people enjoy a weekend of artistry? Help make this exciting festival held in the heart of San Rafael a success by volunteering! Volunteers are needed June 26 - July 1. Commemorative t-shirts provided to all volunteers, and lunch provided to those working 5 plus hours on June 29th & 30th. This event is sponsored by Italian Street Painting Marin.
