Dorothy Vesecky

Dorothy Vesecky was elected Chairperson of the Pickleweed Advisory Board in June 1999. Since that time, she has worked tirelessly to see that the Board reflects the Canal community in the make up of its members and has ensured the participation and commitment of all.  As part of an outreach effort, she has passed out surveys in the neighborhood, placed suggestion boxes in businesses, and dropped off fliers in apartment complexes to alert residents of public meetings. In the opinion of those with whom she works, Dorothy Vesecky is a role model for great community leadership.
